Construction is set to begin on an affordable housing project on Jacksonville’s Westside, reports WJCT.
The project is being built by Habitat for Humanity of Jacksonville a/k/a HabiJax and the Northeast Florida Builders Association.
The development will contain 50 tiny homes at the intersection of Navaho Ave. and Wiley St.
Florida has a shortage of approximately 400,000 homes for very low-income people, according to the National Low Income Housing Coalition.
