Chipola College received a $ 1.7 million grant for its construction and welding program, reports WMBB.
The grant is part of rebuilding Florida Workforce Recovery and comes from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as well as the Florida Department of Economic Opportunities.
Summer classes will begin on May 11, and registrations for summer and fall classes are still open.
