Five contractors are competing on the short list for an estimated $35 million Port Canaveral project.
Kiewit Infrastructure South Co., Orion Marine Construction Inc., RUSH Marine LLC, Superior Construction Company Southeast LLC and Vecellio & Grogan Inc. have until tomorrow (Sept. 24) to complete their proposals for work on North Cargo Berth 3.
Continental Heavy Civil Corp (CHC) failed to meet the cut.
The project description says the work includes demolishing the existing open pile pier and adjacent steel sheet pile wall system and building a new approximately 882 foot long deep combi-wall bulkhead berth with a pipe pile supported reinforced concrete relieving platform landside of the new berth wall.”
