Miami-based developer Mast Capital has completed the largest mat foundation concrete pour in Brickell this year for Cipriani Residences, the company’s first ground-up residential project in North America.
The continuous pour lasted approximately 16 hours, utilizing 11,500 cubic yards of concrete and 2,500 tons of reinforcing steel. Led by “Completing this mat foundation pour marks a significant milestone in the development,” said Camilo Miguel, Jr., founder and CEO of Mast Capital. “It demonstrates the dedication of our team to bring Cipriani Residences Miami to life.”
Designed by Arquitectonica, the project will rise 80 stories at 1420 South Miami Avenue, featuring 397 residences with interiors by 1508 London. The upper 18 floors will include The Canaletto Collection, which offers 68 luxury residences and six penthouses.
“A pour of this scale requires precise coordination,” said Luis Hidalgo, senior vice president of Moss Construction. “Managing over 50 team members and 750 truckloads of concrete highlights our team’s commitment to this project.”
Cipriani Residences Miami will also include amenities across 50,000 square feet, including a wellness center, and recreational facilities. The project is set for completion in 2028.
