Mast Capital, in collaboration with Chicago-based BLG Capital Advisors, has reached the topping-off stage for The Winslow, a new residential rental community in North Fort Myers, Fla. The project, which broke ground in March 2024, is expected to be completed by August 2025 and will offer 320 modern rental units in a rapidly developing area just minutes from downtown Fort Myers.

General contractor Kaufman Lynn is leading the construction of this garden-style community, which will consist of three- and four-story buildings surrounded by landscaped grounds in a walkable setting.

Designed by Humphrey’s & Partners Architects, The Winslow will feature a range of modern apartment layouts and both indoor and outdoor amenities. Onsite facilities will include a full-service fitness center, a lounge, an entertainment kitchen, a marketplace, a dog spa, and a coworking area for residents working from home. Outdoor spaces will feature a resort-style pool, sun deck, cabanas, grill stations, a dog park, and fitness lawns.

The apartments will offer high-end finishes, including vinyl plank flooring, quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances, and full-size washers and dryers. Bathrooms will include backlit mirrors and soaking tubs, while large balconies will provide additional living space.

The project is part of the Revitalization Pilot Program of Lee County, aimed at stimulating local growth and enhancing community development. The Winslow is located near key employers like Lee Memorial Hospital and is close to both downtown Fort Myers and Midtown, providing convenient access to major employment centers, dining, shopping, and entertainment options.

Mast Capital has more than $4 billion in total project capitalization and is involved in developing over 4,000 residential units in South Florida, as well as in the Fort Myers and Tampa metro areas.
