Stellar Communities, a South Florida-based real estate development firm, has acquired 22-acres of land that includes the former Rockledge Airport, an FBO, hangars, and airport rights. The site, located at 3773 Flypark Dr., will be developed into a $72 million townhome community called The Stellar at Space Coast.

The company plans to break ground on the project in the second quarter of this year. The development will feature 201 townhomes ranging from 1,400 to 2,000 square feet, with two-, three-, and four-bedroom layouts. The homes will include private backyards, smart-home technology, and certified eco-friendly features.

“This site offers a truly exceptional opportunity, providing residents a walkable lifestyle in the heart of a rapidly growing area,” said Larry Baum, Managing Partner at Stellar Communities, expressed excitement over the location. “We’re excited to bring a modern, smart-home townhome community to the Space Coast, combining convenience, sustainability, and contemporary living.”

Stellar Communities broke ground on Havens at Palm Bay Reserve in Palm Bay in December 2024.
